Ok, so this is my first meme and I'm very happy with it! I was tagged by *resuki back in SEPTEMBER OF 2008!!!! But since I haven't enough fan characters then, I couldn't make it, but now it's different!!!

Anits: I'm an astaran.
Gallagher: Same answer as Anits.
Perth: Well, I'm Anits grandfather, so I assume you know I'm astaran just as my wife.
Fainche: *just nods at Perth's statement*.
Maera: Resuming we're all astarans here, including me!


Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Anits: Nope, only child since birth.
Gallagher: Mostly people from our village are only child, it's a small village though, no more than 70 people.
Perth: And that fact is ancient just like me, Hehehe... So no brothers neither sisters.
Fainche: Neither I.
Maera: Only child too.

What's your height?
Anits: That depends a lot with whom I'm interacting. My race is rather short in proportions , but our creator always changes it when it's convenient... Sometimes other fan characters have taller proportions than us.
Gallagher: The tallest males would almost reach a female human's shoulders of 160cm, I think. That'd be, what? around 120cm?
Perth: Just take me as an example. *completely bended by the ages*
Anits/Gallagher: *keep staring at Perth*
Perth: What?! If I stand straight you'd see! From who do you think your dad took his height from? *pinches Anits' fleshy cheek*
Anits: nnnnnnn~ *moans in slight pain*
Fainche: In comparison to me... *stays beside Anits to compare... Anits is slightly shorter than Fainche, and Fainche's almost Perth's height*
Maera: *goes besides Anits as well and keep looking down at her* Anits was always short. *laughs gently*
Anits: But to compensate I have boobs and butt. They call this growth process of women the "chewing gun effect".
Gallagher: Chewing gun effect???
Anits: Yeah, "the more it stretches, the more it gets thin"
Maera: ...... *owned!!*

How old are you?
Anits: 19 now.
Gallagher: 23.
Perth: I have 78 years under my belt, mate. And I still can run like a youngling! *smug*
Fainche: I'm 84 years, all of them well spent.
Maera: I'm 20 now.

Anits: Ask Gallagher! *starts laughing*
Gallagher: O_O *blushes* No... we are not.

Anits: *lifts a finger up and opens her mouth... It seems she wants to laugh*

Anits: In my creator's own world I'd be single, but I have a groom-to-be owned by another fan, his name's Kernel... But... It's been happening some things lately and... I'll shut up.
Gallagher: I am currently married with a milkmaid the same age as I.
Perth/Fainche: *exchange looks and smile at each other*
Maera: I am not that worried in finding someone now...


Do you have any kids?
Anits: No, and I hope to stay like this for more couple of years till I feel that I could do everything I have the right to ebfore having a child.
Gallagher: I am rather busy with my job, so is my wife, so I think we wouldn't have time to take care of a baby.
Perth: ...I and Fainche had a son... His name is Kevin, it's Anits father.
Fainche: But unfortunately he died along with his wife, Brina, during Yabus invasion. Poor Anits, she was forced to witness their beheading...
Perth: But we're glad she could get over it, thanks to her will and her father's words. *pets Anits' head*
Maera: I can't see myself having kids, honestly.

Anits: Brownie!!

Perth: I go for any pork, except the parts with too much grease, that's how I was able to stay healthy even now.
Fainche: I like smashed potatoes with fried, sliced onions and salt.
Maera: I always enjoyed a good juice, oh! And boiled eggs too.

Anits: If Yabu's minions count, yes. And I have the right to say it was for my own safety!
Gallagher: I had the same necessity.
Perth: I haven't the oportunity.
Anits/Gallagher: *look at Perth with wide eyes*
Perth: *He looks back* ...The minions... Minions. *he does a gesture with his hand indicating association*
Anits/Gallagher: Oh...
Fainche: Ambiguous phrases... I'm glad I could survive this day without the need of spilling blood.
Maera: I wouldn't have the courage to face one of those.

Do you hate anyone?
Anits: I hardly hate someone in long-terms, but I can make use of my sharp tongue if someone comes to test my patience.
Gallagher: Nope. No one
Perth: I may have hated someone in my young days when I still was fool, but now...
Fainche: We both had witnessed too many things. Getting disappointed with someone, yes, but not hate someone.
Maera: Not that I recall now.


What is your job?
Anits: I am Gallagher's assistant in the healer's house. I'm a healer's assistant.
Gallagher: I work as the healer from the village, there's a small shack behind Anits' home where we receive people in need of treatment.
Perth: I work at home most part of the time taking care of the chores, and I'm also the High Priest from our Coven. I am the local astrologer too, but that's a part-time job which I only do in celebrations.
Fainche: I stay at home most part of the time along with my husband doing researches of new medicines and preparing orders, and I am the High Priestess from our Coven.
Maera: Since I'm a farm girl, I usually do the typical chores at home along with my parents, like churning butter and stuff, and I also help taking care of the collective cattle and the animals of the farm mainly.

What do you do to relax?
Anits: I like to read or draw.
Gallagher: There's nothing that can relax me more than having a warm bath...
Perth: I like to cook, I have good recipes with me, and my specialty is pork!
Fainche: I take care of our plantation and orchard. They need constant attention, we have the bestest crops and fruits... It comes with the job. *smiles*
Maera: I like to meet other girls and to have a nice chat with them.

There's a person who's teasing you; what would you do?
Anits: When it's a friend of mine I play along, but if it someone with whom I have no intimacy I appeal to my sharp tongue, I'm not the type to take stranger's mockery, my education depends greatly of the other's.
Gallagher: I try to ignore it as much as possible, I take them lightly when it's someone who's close to me, though.
Perth: People respect me greatly nowadays, back at my young years I used to strike back with a joke, I never was the type to take people's teasing seriously.
Fainche: People hardly have the guts to tease me due to my job. Not that I'm vengeful with my medicines, it's that they respect me for being the High Priestess.
Maera: Oh, life here is pretty pacific, we hardly get someone's teasings.

Let's say there's a person you really care about but she/he doesn't know your feelings. How do you tell her/him?
Anits: I'd never have the guts to tell. I can even try to make a few slight moves, but telling him straight is beyond my grasp.
Gallagher: Damn, that's a hard thing to do... I show that I care with practical things more than words, I'm not that good to express myself to this point.
Perth: I always was an open-minded person, it's kind of easy to me.
Fainche: By the time I've met Perth, it was him who made the first moves, I was just moving in the same rhythm, as time passed it turned obvious we loved each one.
Maera: Hitting on a guy it's not my strategy, though, but if I can give a hint here and there, it's fine with me. What'll become afterwards, I just let things flow.


What kind of powers do you have?
Anits: Huh...? Well, I don't think being able to talk to mystical beings count, does it? That was pretty common back in my grandparents' age, it turned rare nowadays, but I still can talk to them. I also can make a protection spell once in a while with my altar, but nothing so epic, though.
Gallagher: If you're saying magic powers, I have none, but I can help people get better just by making use of what the nature gives, I think that's a kind of power.
Perth: I and my wife are both the High Priest and the High Pristess.
Fainche: We represent the Goddess and the God by our positions inside the Coven.
Perth: Ah... The good old ways... I still remember when mystical beings were a common thing to be seen near the village, the energies of the earth were powerful then, it protected us all... *sigh* Good days...
Maera: I'm not inside the group of the coveners, so I can't say I have some magic power or something alike.

What is your sexuality?
Anits: I'm straight, I think all the rest down here is as well.
Gallagher: Well...
Anits: *looks at Gallagher in surprise* You never told me that!!
Gallagher: No!- I mean, have some doubts when I was still a teenager, but I'm pretty sure I'm straight!
Anits: ...You never told me that!!
Gallagher: I know!
Perth: Straight.
Fainche: Straight.
Maera: Same as above.


Which do you choose- Duty, or Love?
Anits: I don't think that's something which ou can simply say one thing or another, it depends a lot of the situation you find yourself. But if I can choose right, it'd be love.
Gallagher: I honestly need to balance both, I love my wife and my friends, but I need to look after those who are diseased or wounded.
Perth: Love, definitely. I completed all the duties this life I have gave me, now it's time to chill and enjoy it more than never!
Fainche: Given my job, both duty and love are joined, so I can't really choose one.
Maera: I think it would be love.

Are you afraid of dying/leaving the world?
Anits: Despite what my grandparens taught me, yes. At least now that I'm young, there's lots of things I want to see now, if I die, I'll not be able to do so if I go to Avalon.
Gallagher: Sometimes... But I know in the end I'll go to Avalon, that's what make me feel relieved.
Perth: Nope. I lived all I had the right to, but if I can stay just a little bit more to look after my grandaughter, that'll be very nice, and I'm looking forward to it.
Fainche: I'm still worried with Anits' future, I know I'm old now and my life is at its end, but I want to make sure she'll live nicely once we both part.
Maera: I am afraid! All my friends and family live here, I know I'll be away form them if I go.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Anits: I can't say for sure... My future is uncertain, and I prefer to let it by the Gods to decide it.
Gallagher: I hope, still executing my job, stillstaying with my dear wife, and healthy.
Perth: Only time will say it. But I hope my grandaughter would be healthy and married.
Fainche: I'll probably be in Avalon. It'll be nice to see my son once again, and I hope he hasn't reincarnated by now, he said he'd wait for all of us before doing so.
Maera: I hope married. I'm not that willing to look for a husband now, but who knows?


What are your biggest fears?
Anits: To end up alone. That and big spiders! But the one which comes first is that I end up disappointing my dad, I know he's watching me.
Gallagher: I never use to think about it, but I think it would be to see one of my close ones to die unnaturally.
Perth: That the village might fall into definitive disgrace, if the Gods ever lose their powers, and that Anits might lose her life before she can enjoy all of it.
Fainche: Definitely that my grandaughter might die young. We lost our son already, it's not easy for people so old like us to see such young people dying before us, even if death comes to everyone.
Maera: After what happened before, that some other catastrophe might fall upon the village again...

At first the subject of this journal seems pretty absurd and ridiculous... "Who wouldn't want favoritings?" you may be asking yourself right now, and I have the answer for you: Fan clubs Admins. would!

I am the administrator of , which means it is I who submit fan arts/fanfics, and who edit them on photoshop to add the F "DO NOT FAV" warning that no one seems to notice or (I hope not) simple and disrespectfully ignores. Plus it is I who update the journals and keep in touch with the messages and stuff... Resuming it is I who take care of the club.

Sorry... I need to pour my heart to whoever wants to hear -read- me about this subject, well it's my journal anyway, that's aht it is for! I'm kinda having a hard time lately because some people seems not to notice the "do not fav" warning I put on the fan arts... I doubt they even know that not faving club submissions is a common rule to be followed here in DA... It's not an official rule, but DA users created it for their own sake (and for credit to the original owners sake too!)
Ok, I know I used to make them at the bottom of the fan art, so people obviously wouldn't notice it at first unless taking a good look on the pic... So I changed it today. It crosses completely the fan art, in design terms it is a more objective text ("don't favorite this club submission" to make it crystal clear why it mustn't be favorited), and it has a red outerline with transparent, black letters, to make itself visible..................

I BARELY POSTED A NEW FAN ART TODAY WITH THE NEWEST DESIGN AND SOMEONE OUT THE CLUB FAVORITED IT, WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!! I notified the person about this problem (like all the times I did before when not letting a message in their userpages); yes, I checked to see if the person talked english (he/she was from UK), however he/she receives LOTS of views and comments so only the GODS know when he/she will read my note and fav the original fan art...

Back there even some club members used to favorite the club submissions, but I did a journal there talking about the subject and this important rule; at least inside the club members this seems controlled now, and all the members seem to have read it.

Yet, the "credit to the original owner" is very delicate, so I always need to pay attention to whoever favorites the club submissions, and always say the very same thing over and over and over...

No offense, but ... There are some people who are getting too fake on dA. They only want posts, comments, or to see how many friends they can get. So let's see who will actually re-post this. This is a test to see who's paying attention. This is a test to see how many people in my friends list actually pay attention to me. Copy and re-post in your own bulletin. YESH!!! This monday and today were my last days of the fast photoshop course I was having, and we learned how to make gifs!! It's the very same base for making the so loved emoticons we see in DA, and I'll be doing them really soon! And OH my... One can't believe how EASY it is to manage the program (I learned with ImageReady, from Photoshop... My teacher said this feature was taken off after Cs3), it's very simple to use, but it takes quite some time and a good bunch of frames, but thanks to the emoticons' size, change their composition is much more easier and faster.

Of course, I'll need some help, for I don't know how to make emoticons from the zero, so I'll be thanking ~Wooded-Wolf from the start for he made a VERY lovely, simple and useful emoticon starter pack which he allows people to use freely , the only thing he asks is to give him credit for the pieces (I'll be recalling this fact in my artist's commentary). Personally I think the most useful ones are the v1.0 and v3.0, the first 'cuz it has the adjusted mouths and eyes for 3/4 view, and the third one 'cuz it has more and softer colors, plus some added things.

Despite the fact it's my first time, I'll be doing something rather elaborated, concerning the newest fan pairing I and decided to gather, Anits (mine) and Kernel (hers), K+A for short... They're soooo cute together...!

NO!!! SERIOUSLY!! Okay, I was rather bothered by DA's advertisements at the beginning and then I got used to them, not a problem with them since... BUT WHAT WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY INCLUDED THAT DISGUSTING AD?!?!?! I mean, FUCKYTY FUCK!! "The scariest movies you have ever seen"???!!! My, this AD is just too disgusting already without you going to see the site itself!! Of course there's this option to disable the advertisements... I know that... BUT ONLY SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS CAN DISABLE ADS!!! HALF OF ALL DA MEMBERS ARE NON-SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS!!!! LOTS OF PEOPLE CAN'T DISABLE THAT FRIGGING HORRIBLE AD!!! I CAN'T DISABLE THIS AD, AND NOW I'M BEING FORCED TO SEE IT EVERYTIME I'M WATCHING THINGS ON DEVIANTART?!?!?!??! GIMME A BREAK, TAKE THIS AD OFF!!!!!!!!!
